Individual products from the world-wide petroleum and petrochemical
database of ATEC delivered to you in an easy to use package.
It is ‘Lite’, but it continues to be COMPLETE and POWERFUL,
by harnessing selected technologies from ATEC. And
it’s EASY. Sounds too good to be true? Believe us, it
is really TRUE.
Yes, it’s COMPLETE
As in ATEC, the world-wide petroleum and petrochemical database
includes information on country statistics and company producing plants. The time coverage
in ATEC Lite is limited to years from 1990 to 2000 with outpost years at 2005 and 2010.
You may select individual or group of products from the ATEC data bases, which include:
- Petrochemicals: olefins, aromatics, intermediates, plastics and fibers (overall more
than 100 products)
- Energy, NGL and Petrochemical Feedstock statistics
- Refining Capacities
The data elements contained in the source plant files include full details on
individual units: operator, location, feedstock, technology, licensor, start-up date and
yearly capacity time series.
Elements in the statistical file include information on country import/export flows,
production/demand statistics and feedstock requirements.
The updating of the ATEC database is an on-going process: ATEC Lite users have access
to download quarterly updates of data from PTM Consulting Group’s Web site free of
charge, during their subscription period.
Yes, it’s POWERFUL
ATEC Lite enables you to retrieve, print and plot data in pre-designed and editable
formats. Outputs can be edited and arranged to meet custom requirements. In addition, all
outputs can be downloaded into spreadsheet or graphical format for further elaboration.
The ATEC Lite arrangement and graphics routines use powerful tools, which provide
maximum flexibility.
Yes, it’s EASY
Based on user selection from intuitive listings, ATEC Lite instantly loads pre-defined
output in report, spreadsheet or graphic formats. The operator interface with ATEC Lite
consists of two simple lists (available products and – for each of them –
available outputs): even novice users can use it in a snap!
Pick What You Want: You do not have to purchase the whole database, but just the
products that you want, and you will be provided with a standard set of PTM Consulting
Group’s standard output formats.
Pick When You Want: With just a phone call, or using the request form from
PTM Consulting Group’s Web site, you can order new Products, that you can download from
our Web site on the Internet, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you prefer new Products
data can be delivered to you on diskette or on CD-ROM.

Start ATEC Lite, and you soon are in its complete, powerful, easy environment!
Simply select the product you wish to interrogate, and one of the available output
formats. Click the Load button and… voilą, the report is on your screen.
From here you can:
- Rearrange data
- Highlight key elements
- Summarize and Totalize
- Even Change Data…
Are you satisfied? Does the report appear as you wish?
Then it’s time to…
- Print (one or all pages, only summaries, etc.)
- Export (as Delimited Text or as MS Excel)
- Copy to the Clipboard (plain or ‘intelligent’ copy)
Still not satisfied? Numbers aren’t meaningful enough? Graphics is what you want?
Well! Highlight the data you want to plot and ask Atec Lite to draw them!
Keep in mind: you’re in front of a true business graphics package!

and is cross-checked for consistency before being added to the database.
